I recently visited the downtown area of Atlanta, Georgia for a 3 day weekend. Weeks before my trip, I sought out to find the perfect hotel that allowed me to be in a convenient location, encompassed great customer service and amenities that made me feel at home. Based upon the many outstanding recommendations from travel friends and location a few blocks from The Georgia Aquarium, Coca Cola Museum and steps away from the Marta station, that hotel was Ritz Carlton, Atlanta.
Upon arriving at Ritz Carlton, I knew I had picked the perfect hotel for my weekend stay. The artsy and bold warm colors of the interior and lobby truly defined luxury. Not to mention the perfect setting for the Fall season.
As I proceeded to check into my Executive Suite I was greeted by a lady named Sandra, who handles the marketing and PR for the downtown and Buckhead locations. She greeted me with a warm welcome and refreshing glass of fruit infused water.
Once I checked in and headed to the 19th floor, I walked into my suite. As I walked in, I was immediately greeted with cool, vibrant colors with sophistication and modern elegance that commenced throughout the 3 room suite, luxurious bath and my very own coffee bar. Being a coffee lover, the hotel had once again won my heart over. I even had my very own Nespresso Machine in which I couldn’t operate but no problem. Within a few moments of calling for help to the front desk, concierge arrived to educate me on how to feed my caffeine addiction.
The suite consisted of copious amounts of space including a living area, dining table, french doors that led into the master bedroom with work desk and additional french doors leading into the master bath which had a separate marble bath tub and glass styled walk in shower.
As I got settled into my suite, I decided to check out the rest of the hotel in which I found the Lumen Lobby Bar, which serves light breakfast each morning consisting of Starbucks coffee, cereal, bagels, muffins and fresh fruit as well as signature cocktails and shared plates throughout the day.
In addition to the Lumen Lobby Bar, Atlanta Grill is also located on the 2nd floor with an intimate setting with outdoor patio consisting of flickering gas light lanterns over looking the downtown area of Peachtree Street.
In addition to the dining options, luxury and convenience findings did not end there. Immaculate, signature and design with a flair was found by the entrance to the grand ball room area and other venues in which are used to create the perfect memorable wedding or successful business meeting or social event.
The overall experience while staying at Ritz Carlton, in Atlanta Downtown, exceeded my expectations by 110%. No matter where I was in the hotel, I was always treated like a gentlemen and someone important with simple things such as Hello, How are you Mr. Houck and the yummy chocolates and bottle water left in the room before time to turn in. Whenever I had a question an answer was always given in an instant by the very knowledgeable staff.
In closing, with the hotel being convenient, encompassing pure luxurious amenities and an unforgettable customer experience, I highly recommend Ritz Carlton Atlanta to family and business travelers as the hotel and staff are ready to meet every need an individual may have. Are you a business traveler who needs business amenities or someone who likes to work out every morning? No worries, they also have you covered with a business center, car service and fitness center.
Thank you again, Ritz Carlton Atlanta staff for the perfect experience.

Thank you Cynthia for the comment. I have traveled to many hotels across the states and have NEVER been treated the way I was by the Ritz Carlton staff in Atlanta. Simply, priceless.

I grew up down the street! I’m glad you enjoyed your time in Atlanta. It’s grown so much that alot of people like to say it’s “no longer part of the South.”
Jason Houck says
Very nice Paul. I do hear that a lot. It will never be no longer part of the South. I appreciate you stopping by.
